Jetpack update has stopped it working altogether

is there a way of doing like a hard force remove for jetpack and then reinstalling maybe?

Try deleting JetPack from your plugins folder – using FTP or Cpanel to access your site files on the server.

Then reinstall from the Dashboard.

Thanks. I tried it but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Jetpack just won’t install, it keeps hanging every time ??

I’m sure one of the JetPack support experts (that’s not me ?? ) will be along to offer additional help before too long.

But it looks like you are using W3TC plugin – and that can be troublesome so you could try deactivating it.

I just tried it but unfortunately it didn’t work ?? still just freezes at Unpacking the package…

Could you try to reinstall the plugin manually as explained here?

Some hosts limit the resources allocated to unzipping documents, so it might be what’s causing the issue here.
