FTP settings needed???

    Never a problem with importer, till now.

    My WP-installation is NOT set to a domain right now, but I want to install the import plugin already, so I can transfer my site from MAMP to my host.

    When installing importer, i get the next message: “To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host.”

    Why is this?
