Add New page, post, update post not working

My website crashed due to hosting provider disaster and he didnt have nothing to recover.
So I have to start from fresh, and updated my 3.x to current 3.7.1 and trying to add page, post and update post. They are taking hours, but not really the page to edit is appearing. Rest of category addition etc are working. Can some one guide me, what is happening?
