How to make a page without comments

  • Hi,
    I’m brand new to WordPress and trying to make a web page for my portfolio. I want to make pages that aren’t blog posts (for resume and portfolio). All my new pages come with a comment section at the end. How do I remove the comment form?

  • Lots of ways to do that, but the easiest to explain is:
    Go to All Pages in Admin
    Hover over the desired page’s title and click on the Quick Edit link that appears
    Change the value of Allow Comments, to make the checkbox empty
    Click on Update Page

    You are done.
