    Hi alltogether,

how does myCRED work with Multisite installations.
May i have a different installations with different amounts per user for every subsite or is there only one myCRED installation with a shared stock for every subsite?

    best regards,
    maffsen

    Hey!

You can either have a single installation that is used on all sites or enable myCRED on specific sites and keep things separate.

If you network enable the plugin, you can select in your Network Settings page if you want to keep settings the same on all sites and if you want to keep a central log or keep this separate for each site as well.

If you separate the log, users will only see their “points history” for the particular site they are on.

    Thank you for your response,

in the Settings of the Subsite in the Management tab, there is the “table name” like wp_5_mycred_log and the “user meta key” mycred_default.

On another Subsite there is the “table name” wp_7_mycred_log but the “user meta key” is also mycred_default.
But i can’t change the user meta key values?

So on both sites the amount of myCRED is the same. Even if the logs of every site are different, there is only one big pile of points for example 1300.

I would like to have a pile of 1000 point (earned on site 1)
and anoter pile of 300 (earned on site 2)
that the user can only spend on the site they earned it for logging in, etc.

so is there a way to change the mycred_default to another value?

    best regards,
    maffsen

Can you tell me about you myCRED setup? Is myCRED network enabled? If it is, what settings have you selected in your network settings?

Yes, it’s Network activated with following settings:
    Master Template: No
    Central Logging: No
    Site Block: empty
