Can I Place a Donate Button in my theme's sidebar?

    I am working on recurring donations right now, but next on the list was a sidebar widget – I am thinking the widget should let you

    – have as many donation widgets as you’d like
    – set an optional title for each widget
    – link to the donate page OR accept a donation directly
    – optionally specify an amount
    – optionally specify a designated fund
    – allow some arbitrary text
    – allow an image

    What else would the ideal widget do for your application?

    I think you have covered pretty much all of the bases. Maybe it would also be good to have a few different styles/looks to choose from to ensure it looks good regardless of the theme being used.

    When do you think something like this would be available?

    Probably in a few months – sorry! So many feature requests and so little time ??
