I have a chart of the English alphabet. I would like users to be able to click on each letter, and go to that letter’s page. How can I do this? Thanks.

There’s a technique called “image maps”.

These two links should provide a detailed explanation:
    https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_map.asp
    https://www.onextrapixel.com/2009/04/30/how-to-create-multiple-links-on-a-single-image-with-image-map/

The above assumes that you are comfortable writing a bit of html.

jibbius, thank you. Where do I insert the html?

I assume you have added the image to a page / post, via the text editor?
To switch to HTML mode, click the HTML tab in the top right corner of the editor.

    Hi foodergolove

I am attempting the same technique today but have been unsuccessful so far. Have you got it working??

I have tried to use ImageMapper plugin. Everything works except on the final, published page, if you click on a region, nothing happens. Advice?

Could you link the page with the issue? You may have to take this up with the plugin author by posting in their subforum.

Andrew, thank you. Here is the page: https://www.kunming-english.com/?page_id=269

I posted this in the Plugin’s forum, but it looks like there is almost no activity there, so I do not count on help.

It looks like the “Zz” area has the correct link and none of the other areas have links at all. Are you sure you’re adding links to those other areas?

Andrew, ok thank you. Yes, I am pretty sure I added them correctly. I will check again. If you click Zz, does it redirect you to another page?

Ok I think I figured it out. I went to Yy, and entered not only the page, but also the specific url, and it works. I guess I will have to enter each individual url. While I am happy that it will work, it does seem like a flaw in the plugin. Thank you so much, Andrew!
