Problem with writing to SiteMap

    Hi ,

    I have installed dis plugin. It was running well for many days. Mean while , unfortunately i have uninstalled it . And added anothr sitemap to google webmaster. However , I want to use this plugin again. But after installation , Its showing 2 such errors:

    There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.
    There was a problem writing your zipped sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.

    The same problem exists with back up plugin too.

    I have tried to set the file permission using FTP. But It’s showing command not understood.

    Can you just give me a better solution to this problem ? Is this file permission problem affecting Google crawler to crawl ma site?
