displaying posts from all categories except one

    Hi I’m trying to use a recent post wdiget to display the posts except ones in particluar category which I want to display elsewhere and not in the general listing.

    I’m using the following
    !in_category(‘Musings’)
    in th widget logic box but the posts from this category still keep being displayed.

    i have both the Add ‘widget_content’ filter and the Use ‘wp_reset_query’ fix checked

    Can anyone help?

    My mistake guys, just realised I was asking the wrong plugin to do the task I should have looked at a selective posts plugin
