Uninstall does not remove the domain mapping tables

I just uninstalled the MU domain mapping plugin as I don’t need it anymore on a specific website and noticed that the tables created by the plugin are not being removed.
Can I delete them manually without averse effects ?
I also noticed that for one of the mu sites, I can not login anymore. Any thoughts on that ?
