cannot customize widgets

    I’m a complete newbie trying to help a non-profit. Please speak slowly and use small words. ??

    The restaurant theme looks great and I’ve been able to customize the slider, however I cannot figure out where to customize any of the widgets: header, front or footer. I can override them by dragging another widget such as the page list into a front widget container. How can I just edit the image and text? Is that available somewhere within the theme customizations without having to hack php or css?

    Any help would be appreciated. My demo site is at lcc.denran.net.

    After further exploration, apparently overriding the default text and images with customized information is the way to go rather than editing the default information. Sorry, but I don’t see a way to delete this thread.
