Blank screen when editing page

What do you mean by “large page”? Can you clarify this?

It is a roster and contains over 3000 lines.

My guess is that this is being caused by a setting on the server limiting the POST request size. Have you spoken to your hosts about it?

I will contact them about it. Would that relate to my getting a “Bulleted ” type list of the WordPress Admin page when I try to edit? The url looks legit “https://mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=157&action=edit”.

Yes – it could well result in this kind of “broken display”. In effect, your 3000 line post may be overwhelming limits set by the server – resulting in admin pages sometimes losing their CSS because the request has been cut short.
