The only way I can get the APL plugin to work is using the default permalinks. For marketing purposes and sharing links with customers, I’d like to use the Post Name option. How can this be done?

Also, random listings are not appearing in their appropriate categories.

Example: Listing #0059 is ticked with the Sale taxonomy, but does not appear when searching “For Sale” properties or using the “For Sale” tab in the navigation bar. How can this be fixed?

    URL: trypanama.com

Let me know if I need to provide any additional information?
    Thanks!

I corrected search results by going to Settings > Reading and changing the value of posts to a greater number than listings on the site.

Still working on changing listing links to Post Name permalink structure without having 404 error. Will post my solution once I have one.

Check with your host to see if mod_rewrite is enabled on the webserver for your site.

mod_rewrite is enabled. The listings are still leading to 404 pages as well as the status slugs I have custom linked in the navigation menu.

According to the view link under the “for sale” status slug, it should be trypanama.com/status/for-sale. When followed, it leads to a 404 page

The same happens with the “for rent” status slug. It should be trypanama.com/status/for-rent, but I get a 404 page.

How can I get the individual listings to be viewable as well as all listings in each of these categories to show as they did in the default permalink structure?

Do your other post links work?

Can you deactivate all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
THe listings plugin makes Custom Post Types, which are supported in WordPress by default.

I have deactivated all other plugins and still have this problem. All pages and posts work except for the Listing type posts and even when I try to get the status view link for /for-rent and /for-sale listings.

Even when I click on the view link from the listing edit screen, I get a 404 error page.

The listings need a custom pretty permalink to work.

Set something up other than default. Test the links to both listings and your blog, with plugins deactivated.

If they still do not work, you will need to contact your host.

I finally got the permalinks to /%postname%/ structure to work on the listings thanks to the above suggestions. As it turns out, I had to delete a plugin rather than just deactivate it to find the source of the problem. Multiple Category Selection Widget was the offending plugin that needed to be deleted, a plugin that was never activated in the first place!
