Where do I drop the script in functions.php

  • I have the latest wordpress and I am very new to wordpress. I want to change all of my dates to the chinese format. Can you please help me figure out how to do this as if I were a child? In your how to you mentioned a script that should go in the functions.php document. Where do I put this in the functions.php? Does it matter?
