• I have a problem… I’ve chosen a Flat Discount (Quantity min. 2 ->> discount 39,50€, Quantity min. 3 ->> discount 79€) and if I add to cart the same product variation everything it’s ok, but If I add 1 product with a variation (example color: black) and then a 2nd product with a different variation (example color: white) the discount is wrong.

I have “Treat product variations separately” unchecked

    How can I solve it?

    Thank you

This is a known problem or rather the way the plugin works. By design the plugin works as follows:

The administrator can choose to apply discounts to variations either individually or by a shared quantity. In the latter case, the quantity is determined by the sum of individual quantities in the cart, but the discount in applied to EACH of the variation lines in the cart.

I’m going to add an option which will allow the functionality that you (and few others) want in some future release.

FWIW, I’d really like this functionality as well. The current behavior was a surprise to me (flat discount per line) when using variations. I’m working around it by using a percentage discount instead.

Thanks for spending your time building this great plugin!

    Hi there,

First of all, this plugin is AWESOME. I agree with the original poster of this topic though… being able to add multiple items to the ‘end’ quantity and then still be able to apply a certain discount would be awesome. One thing I know would really help ‘my’ situation would be if you could have an option in the settings, of something like :

“Group discount items by ‘tag’ name” then a checkbox.

Right now, I am working with a client that sells these custom juices and she wants to be able to do “buy ANY 10 and receive 20% off” – so, I have added a tag of “juice” to each associated item. That’s where having an option like the aforementioned line above would be just… oh man, it’d be great! Please please let us know if you think that might ever be a possibility in a future release! Thank you so much for this already amazing plugin!
