    Hello –

I’ve uploaded the Overwrite Uploads dir into my plugin dir and changed the code in file.php, but when I go into the plugin section of WP admin to activate the plugin it’s nowhere to be seen.

    I’m running WordPress 3.7.1.

This forum is pretty dormant so I hope someone is still out there!

Can you double check that the file structure is correct?

    Correct: wp-content/plugins/overwrite-uploads/overwrite-uploads.php
Incorrect: wp-content/plugins/overwrite-uploads/overwrite-uploads/overwrite-uploads.php (plugin is nested inside a 2nd directory, so it can’t be detected)

You can try installing it directly from WP instead of uploading it to avoid issues like that.

    Hi Ian –

Thanks for the quick reply. Just now able to spend some time on this.

The file structure was right, but for some reason my FTP software uploaded a 0KB version of overwrite-uploads.php. I just uploaded a clean copy and now it’s showing the full 16KB and it’s showing up in the plugin page.

Thanks again for the reply, and the plugin!
