Documentation and writing by email

WHAT THE _____? I have been scouring this site for hours now and still can’t understand or get the post by email option to work. I have to say that the documentation I find here for WordPress lacks a lot. Where can I find help? I can easily email post to my stinking Blogger blog and phone in audio post. I thought WP was suppose to be the bomb? Please, can someone help me?
