    Hi,

    We are aware of the current issues with the plugin not working. We have investigated and it’s due to Yahoo! API being down. Currently Yahoo! hasn’t made any official statement, but we think it should be back soon, as their own apps are down, too ( Yahoo! Weather iPhone app, for example ).

    We’ll keep you updated and sorry for any inconvenience.

    Hi,

    Could you please post a link to the website with the installed widget, so we can investigate what’s going on?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    It looks like you have WordPress installed in a folder or is it a test account, not live?

    Hi Appcuarium,

    Apologies I didn’t respond to your post earlier. My site is live but it’s a test site and it’s password protected. If you contact me on [email protected] I’ll let you have a temporary username / password.

    Cheers,
    Graham

    @appcuarium:
    Yes wordpress is installed in a test-account. Thats the reason for the strange url. But that shouldnt be a problem.
    The widget is placed top right on the header, under the heading “V?ret i dag”

    If i can make another small request at the same time: Please update your plugin so it does not delete my language-files every time it is updated.

    If you’d like I can send you a norwegian translation-file for you to include in your plugin.

    Hi,

    The image in the middle is due to the fact that the plugin is not conditioning its width, letting the user decide what width it will have. I see you have it in a space prepared for advertising, with 10 units of grid width out of 12. So you could wrap Alfie WP Weather in a div and place it inside that container, specify a width and float it to right, or, if it is a pre-designed space by a theme’s options, you could add to your theme’s css file this code:

    .alfie_wp_weather {
          width: 260px;
          float: right;
    }

    As for the language files, if you added them to the plug-in they will always be erased, that’s the behavior of Alfie WP Weather and every other WordPress plug-in. You could backup your .po and .mo file and then re-add them to the plug-in after updating. This won’t be necessary if we had the translation to norwegian, so if yo would be so kind to send us your files, we’ll be happy to include them in the plugin on the next release.

    Best regards.
