• We have a bilingual site that hosts content in both English and Spanish. I’ve set up three profiles within our account, one to track all visits to the site, one to track visits to English pages and one to track visits with Spanish pages.

On the “All website data” profile there are no filters. On the “English content” profile I’ve set up a filter to exclude all content to the “/es” directory. On the “Spanish Content” profile I’ve set up a filter to only include content in the “/es” directory. I’ve been over the settings a million times and everything seems OK to me. Yet somehow the “English Content” profile is getting more visits than the “All website data” profile, which doesn’t make sense. And shouldn’t the number of visits to the “English Content” and “Spanish Content” profiles combined equal the number of visits to the “All website data” profile?

I’ve heard that WordPress Google Analytics problems can sometimes cause buggy numbers. Could there be a conflict between the filters and the Yoast plugin? Is it better to just install the trackign code manually?

    Would greatly appreciate feedback. Thanks!
