Is that not the “site title” set in the WordPress dashboard under general settings?

That’s what it seems like. But I would like it to be different than my site title.

You don’t need to use the blog title, just write whatever you want. Some tag are defined because I need to distribuite themes or texts which need to adapt to the blog where they are used.

The thing is that when a person subscribe through the widget, they get a message page, with a frame at the top containing text. The bottom part of the frame reads:
You have successfully subscribed to the newsletter. You’ll receive a confirmation email in few minutes. Please follow the link in it to confirm your subscription. If the email takes more than 15 minutes to appear in your mailbox, please check your spam folder.

The top part contains the {blog_title}. I don’t know where I can access this text and edit it.

Hi, instead og the standard page, create a dedicated page for subscription messages and configure it on subscription steps panel. It’s easy!

    Bye, Stefano.

I saw {blog_title} in the following two place:
subscription steps > confirmation > confirmation email
subscription steps > welcome > welcome email

I changed the {blog_title} text with my own text. But I continue to receive the {blog_title} in the following:
    1) The header for the Confirmation Required Message
    2) The header in the “please confirm subscription” Email (although the subject was indeed changed as I wanted).
    3) The header for the confirmation message, where it says: Your subscription has been confirmed! Thank you {name}.

So I found only two instances of {blog_title} in the subscription steps panel, but where can I find the other places where {blog_title} is found?

    Lisa,
I followed your instructions, created a dedicated page instead of the standard page and configured it on the subscription steps panel. However I was able to change only some of the instances of {blog_title}. The only way that I can change all of {blog_title} instances is only by changing the site title in WP. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, where those instances are? So I can address you on how to change them.

Hi, sorry I didn’t see the reply above. To change the confirmation message theme you should use the subscription/email-alternative.php and follow the instructions with in (see also the email.php).
