Comments showing as pingbacks

    Hi,

    This is very frustrating so I really hope someone call help me with this problem. On a lot of my posts, comments are showing up as pingbacks, but they’re comments and the comments aren’t showing. Here’s a few examples:

    https://fromjoetojack.com/time-management-tips/

    https://fromjoetojack.com/attract-women/

    I’ve tried other reset the theme options and even tried another theme. I’ve tinkered with all of the discussion options and nothing is working. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, I’ve disabled pingbacks entirely because they’re awful in my opinion but they’re still showing up despite changing the settings.

    I believe this happened with the last WordPress update.

    Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the default theme to see if any are causing that?

    Yes, just deactivated all my plugins and switched to the 2013 theme. The problem still persists.

    Anyone have ideas? All of my comments are coming in as Pingbacks and the comments don’t show.
