Theme: Artificer Attributes not working

Hello, I am pretty new to this whole website stuff, and i am trying to list products on my site that have sizes such as small medium large etc. I watched a tutorial on how to set the attribute to the product, and in the video it works fine, however when i do the same thing, it lists the words: “Size” then maybe 4 indents in it lists the sizes. no drop down menu, nothing to select, they are just listed like if i had put them in a description.

I already updated the theme, so that isn’t the issue, i pretty much have no clue why its not working. Any help would be wonderful.
