I would exclude this may depend on our plugin. Double check the editor settings on your WP profile. If the problem persists, please read our FAQ and post a detailed issue report.

    it happened twice.

i installed wordpress, it happened, i uninstalled and reinstalled, and it happened again.

btw, it means your plugin is almost the first i install.

In Users -> Your Profile, the very first option is “Disable the visual editor when writing”. Please verify that the option is not checked.
By the way, our pluging does not touch that option, but it is possible that other plugins / themes do.

    it’s not checked.
your plugin is one of 2 plugins: the other one is contactform 7.
    no other plugin.

    and now no visual editor.

    thanks

Which WP version and which theme are you using?
Does your browser javascript console report some error?

Please try to temporarily switch to the WP default theme and check if the issue is still present.
    What about browser javascript console?
I think it would be helpful if you can provide admin credentials to your site, so that I can take a look (you can send them using our contact form).

    AMAZING !!!
i switched to theme twenty twelve and twenty thirteen, and the problem is solved.

when i get back to my theme the problem returns.
so i guess somehow the problem is with the theme.

it seems there’s a conflict between your plugin and the theme.

I’ll create another theme and check it.
    i’ll get back to you.
thank you very very much for your help.

what is the browser javascript console?

there used to be a line i could put in .htaccess to debug. can you remember this line?

    thanks

Since the problem is present even when our plugin is disabled, I think it’s not a conflict, but it’s a problem depending only on your theme.

The browser javascript console is a developer tool provided by all the major browsers, that can help to debug (client-side) javascript issues.
Please check this post about how to open it on different browsers.

As for WP (server-side) debug, see the Codex.
