Have homepage show excerpts of blog posts/have blogs show in page categories

    I was told to post this in this forum so here’s a copy and paste from the original forum post.

    Instead of having complete posts show on my homepage, I only want excerpts to show as well as the title and the image. How can I do that?

    Also, I’m trying to organize my posts in my tabs at the top of my page. My site is

    For example, I want a post about Memphis to show up under

    Destinations->North America-Memphis

    In the Memphis page I want excerpts to show as well as the title and photo. At the end of the excerpts I can link to the full blog post (pretty much the same as the home page…I just want it organized under my destinations tab at the top menu).

    Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried searching and tried a few things but couldn’t quite figure it out. I’m using the Heatmap adaptive theme if that matters.
