Youtube videos not playing in iOS7

    Hi,

    I’m getting reports of Youtube videos not playing on iOS7. When a user taps the red play button in the middle of the frame, nothing happens.

    Have you heard of this at all / know why this might be? Can’t give you much more info at the moment, let me know if there’s anything else I can give you to help track this down.

    Hi Josh,

    Nope, haven’t heard this before. Can you try switching to the default WordPress theme to see if you can replicate the issue with another theme?

    It started when I switched from another theme. I have one person saying youtube videos won’t play on their ipad, one on their iphone. Any idea on where to start troubleshooting? Maybe it’s a plugin incompatibility?

    I checked the theme demo on an iPad with the latest iOS and it played just fine for me.

    Yep, I see what you are talking about. Can’t get the video on your site to work on my iPhone. Next thing I’d try is disabling all plugins and testing by enabling them one by one until you find the culprit.
