What happens if you use the default permalink structure?

In default permalink setting it’s working fine. Please help me to rid from this permalink problem. Thanks in advance.

When i select post name permalink structure and update setting then show me this message >> Permalink structure updated. Remove write access on web.config file now!

Can anyone tell me what is problem?

Not yes, i guess i may delete this directory and install WordPress newly. Is that can solve problem?

Not if it’s a server problem, no.

Hosting company said it’s VPS so they cannot do help. What to do now? That site is my client’s. I have no prior experience in work with VPS. Thanks

It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from. Editing or deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information but. generally, your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn’t want to be public.

I’m sorry but this is not an extreme case. There is no obvious security issue.

That’s my client’s site. He asked for removing this :'( Please please edit at least. Remove site name and backlink. Keep problem info. Thanks in advance.
