    It seems like the video on that page has been placed inside the left column on the template page instead of in the much wider ‘content’ area. I don’t know how that theme works so I can’t give you any specific instructions. Try putting a bunch of text in the same section you put the [KGVID] shortcode in. It looks like the text would also be very skinny. If the WordPress default player isn’t skinny on that page, that sounds like a mistake.

    Firefox can’t play H.264 videos except in Windows without using Flash. I can’t tell what the problem might be without seeing it in action. The Video.js player seems to work fine in Firefox.

    FFMPEG is not a video player and has nothing to do with the problems you’re having.

    You are right, I need to expand my understanding of the wordpress template/loop system to fix this (looking in the “edit themes” section of wp-admin is trial and error…

    I have used ffmpeg for encoding, love the whole “datamoshing” thing where you edit keyframes to create glitches…
