    Hi,

    The plugin makes a copy of file, from its “original” location, to the “downloads” directory, and sends to the buyers the download link from “downloads” directory.

    The “downloads” is a special directory, the files are maintained in this directory, the interval time that download link is valid (configured from the settings page of plugin), passed the time interval the file is removed.

    If the plugin can’t create a copy of file in the downloads directory, and only in this case, the original file’s location is sent to the buyer (is recommended to check the permissions assigned to the “downloads” directory)

    So could I use Flickr as the file location for storing files? I ask this question as the URL will be different to the home URL.

    Hi,

    The current version of plugin requires that images files be stored in the local server, because the “Image Store” edits the uploaded images to insert the watermark.
