roles not showing up in settings page

  • I agree this is a problem as it means I cannot allow admins and mods only to invite members to a hidden group. The dropdown list for the “Allow email invitations to be sent by” in Access Settings only lists WP user roles, not Buddypress user roles.

    This is actually pretty simple, just set “Allow email invitations to be sent by” to Subscriber, and “Limit group invitations” to:

    Site admins can send group invitations to: Anyone
    Group admins can send group invitations to: Anyone
    Group mods can send group invitations to: Anyone
    Group members can send group invitations to: Noone

    At least, this owrks for me on my site. If I’ve missed something there please point it out.
