    @donnabit – There are few items you can check:

    * Permalinks not set to the standard default (try “Post name”?)
    * PHP memory limit may need to be increased
    * Plugin and/or theme conflict

    Generally one or more of those three items will point to where the issue is but if you still are not able to find a solution, please feel free to submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) and include a set of log in credentials to your WordPress installation (FTP credentials may also be needed) and we will try to help you sort out this issue.

    Cais- I got the same problem.

    I changed the Permalinks as suggested but no joy. For the PHP memory limit, mine is a virgin site from InMotion.

    The software appears to go through the motions of uploading. I can create albums and galleries and when I check into raw files /directories, I don’t see any pictures getting added.

    I see other people on the forum commenting about a similar problem after they updated wordpress to current edition. I’m new to WP so don’t know how long that revision has been released, and how many people have installed NextGEN since.

    I’m having the same problem also. I just upgraded to 3.7.1 before I installed the NexGen.

    I am having a similar problem. Sometimes I am able to upload images, and sometimes it says images uploaded successfully but when I got to the galleries manager all that shows for thumbnails is broken image icons. Any suggestions?

    nevermind….I solved my own issue…plugin working fine for me…was all about the gallery name, apparently it does not allow foreign language characters or marks….???

    I am having the same problem on an 3.7.1 install. Also tried changing permalinks.
    Using a Genesis theme. Any other suggestions?

    All – as noted by one of the responses above there can be many different reasons something may not be working with NextGEN Gallery. Please create your own topic so we can address your specific issue (even if it appears to read exactly the same).
