Media Gallery v 3.7.1 not working

    Greetings-

    When I loaded the media gallery at https://palm-desert-rental.com/gallery/ it was working fine in the slideshow mode.

    Then, the slideshow mode disappeared and the pics were in a grid. On Media Manager panel, the option for slideshow went away. After mucking around with it, even recreating it, now the photos don’t show at all.

    Can someone tell me why the media gallery function is so unreliable? This is not the first site it has given me a problem in. I don’t want to resort to a plugin, so any suggestions are welcome.

    What slideshow mode? There’s no such option in WordPress by default.

    If you’re using jetpack, yes. The slideshow will not appear. I had that issue too, but somehow it’s fixed. All I do was activating some plugins, after that I’ve checked the posts with “slideshow” gallery and everything was working ok.

    I was ready to accept that kind of issue because jetpack is not currently tested for 3.7.1, I was waiting for some “good days in near future”, but as I told you, maybe activating other plugins solve this issue…

    You are both right. The slideshow mode seems to be connected to one of the Jetpack plugins. No sure which one. When I activated more of them – after deactivating almost all, trying to fix another issue – the slideshow option returned.
