Weird behavior when used in an English/Russian website

I think the problem is not in my plugin.
Anyway, I need to get a look at your debug.log file

Please add following code to your wp-config.php

define('WP_DEBUG',         true);  // Turn debugging ON
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false); // Turn forced display OFF
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG',     true);  // Turn logging to wp-content/debug.log ON

Then visit pages with broken shortcodes and post here contents of wp-content/debug.log file.

I’m still thinking the problem is not in my plugin. Try to disable all caching plugins. If it not helps, try to hire someone.

Hi Vladimir again,
I did like you said:
– asked WP Engine and we found nothing (the error in cache is common and has no consequence)
– deactivated all plugins
– changed theme to standard

Same result.
Then I had the idea to get rid of the prefix in shortcodes of SU (su_) only for the Russian version of the page.
Something weird happened: the shortcodes do not appear on page any longer nor are executed — please see screen capture here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dkadu71cfb7qshb/Capture_040.png.

I would appreciate you test the Compatibility settings of SU in a multilingual setting,. There is definitely something weird here.

Can you answer to several questions?
1. Do you have enabled Compatibility mode at plugin settings page?
2. Do you using the same shortcodes on both these pages (with different languages)?
3. Can you show me shortcodes from these pages?

I pushed the test even further and totally deactivated the compatibility mode of SU.
Then got rid of the su_ prefix in the English page too.

As far as I can understand it, the shortcodes that are not understood do not yield any result because:
– the EN page now has columns (which is normal since the shortcodes are now efficient without the prefix)
– the RU page still does not have column BUT the shortcodes do not appear any longer.

So the mystery remains.

you need to do next things:
1. Enable Compatibility mode (plugin settings page) (make sure it’s really enabled, refresh the settings page)
2. Enable custom formatting (plugin settings page)
3. Use next shortcodes for columns (don’t put here any sliders, just test the columns)

2. Custom formatting was and is activated
3. Added the row shortcode and deleted the slideshow:
– still OK in EN
– same issue in RU (https://www.apraksinblues.com/ru/)

Hi. I have the same issue, in all languages columns work fine but in russian lang dont.
Can you share the fix you made?
