Discount by Weight

Hi I was wondering if there is a way to apply the bulk discount by weight.
So that purchase over 5lb get % discount…

or

If you are able to set a different discount for each variation of a product,

Or even yet,

Discount for a certain amount of a product attribute type?

Just wondering.
