Hand select posts to appear

    Is there a plugin that can allow me to hand select posts to appear in modules on my homepage? I’m not referring to inputting IDs. I have editors that are not tech savvy and I need to be able to quickly create ‘modules’ that adhere to a certain format and instead of showing a list of posts from a category in chronological order, I can physically search a box and select the posts I want to show up, possible with a plugin or custom?

    Thanks, but this isn’t quite what I was looking for, it still requires the editor to pick variables and input the ids for things to show up. Ideally I’d like a system that is similar to how the menu system works in WordPress, in which you can drag and drop articles to chose what shows up where.
