Old notifications from months ago are being resent

My website is sending out old wp email notifications (ex: register, contact etc..) Ive checked the code and it looks and works great so I can only assume its the database but not sure how to fix this issue or how it started.

Has anyone else had a similar issue before?

Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
