Favicon Not Working/Showing up

  • Situation:
    Using the WordPress application on godaddy.com. Using the Point Business Responsive WP Theme purchased from Themeforest. I want to replace the theme’s favicon with my own favicon.

    Problem Identified:

    • Google Chrome – new icon is not showing up
    • Firefox – favicon is not showing up at all
    • Internet Explorer – favicon is not showing up at all

    Is this a WordPress issue or a theme template issue? If a WordPress issue, how do I solve these problems?

    Any help or input you guys can send my way would be greatly appreciated!
