how to edit WordPress site

I paid a guy online to build my website. I provided all pictures, ready to go, already sized), and all text – he just put it all together for me. He said he would do a WordPress site that I could edit myself at any time. He did build the site, but when I go in to edit, there is no script on the page (it does come up as WordPress when I go to the /admin screen). The website is there and looks good, but I can’t edit anything because there’s no script showing to edit. The only pages that show any script at all are the Contact page and the Our Customers page. These only show script for the 1 image there – doesn’t even show any script for the header, tabs, etc. How can I edit my website?
The address is finewoodmasters.com. Guess I got the picture too big for some computers, but otherwise it looks good.
