Taxonomy Archives & Category Listing

Evening!

I have a custom taxonomy archive listing posts as expected. I would however, like to include a list of all the categories (of the standard variety) which these posts appear in. If that makes sense?

The plan is to then find a way of creating another archive page showing posts which appear in this custom taxonomy and a relevant category.

Anybody seen or know how this can be done? To be honest, I don’t even know where to start looking.

Any pointers in the right direction greatly received.
