What's the best to do first? Theme creation or multisite

  • Hello people,
    I’m rather new to the more advanced side of WP; but I bought the books, read the documentation and now I learn as I go, setting up a WP-site for a client. The last couple of weeks I’ve been developing a “normal” html/css website for the client, and now I want to convert this site to a WP-theme (I have the books and tutorials to follow on this) – but the client also wants her site available in two different languages (to begin with), so I decided to make the site a multisite and install a multi-language plugin.

    However – new as I am to this – I’d like to know before I dive into it, what is the best practice here; to first enable multisite-functionality and then create the theme, or the other way around?

    I fear that if I make the wrong call I’ll be dealing with a lot of problems due to different theme settings…
