Cancel newsletter automatic emails

    Hello, i just megrated to much different newsletter manager.

    I removed the jetpack newsletter widget from my blog but it is still sending an eail every time i post a new entry.

    That was the main reason to stop using Jetpack′s newsletter. I have no control over my subscribers.

    How can i completely cancel the newsletter to avoid them having to recieve an email every time y post something new. Im loosing subscribers as we speak.

    You can follow the instructions here to deactivate the Subscriptions module:
    https://jetpack.me/support/#turn-off-jetpack-modules

    Once the module is deactivated, we will stop sending notification emails.

    Hello, and thanks for your reply.

    I just did this as explained in the linked page.

    But one more concern, by deactivating this feature does it means my users wont be able to follow posted comments?

    I just want to deactivate the newsletter automatic emails, not the “follow comment” feature.

    That’s correct. Deactivating the Subscriptions module also deactivates comment subscriptions. I’m afraid there is no way to deactivate one subscription but not the other at the moment. But I took note of this problem, and we’ll consider adding such an option in a future Jetpack release.

    It would be a great idea to include this important update on feature releases!

    Hi, i just wanted to say that I’m having the same issue and would love to see a way to keep the comment subscribers activated while deactivating the post-to-email subscribers. For now, looks like I’ll just have to deactivate the entire module. Please let us know if that changes! Thanks!
