WP SimpleWeather works only on zipcode

  • Hi, thanks for a plug-in.
    But more recently the plug-in has ceased to work on location. The plug-in works only on zipcode. If location St. Petersburg, Russia – I receive ‘ invalid location given ‘. The original plug-in from James Fleeting also does not wish to work on location… Tell please, what happens with Yahoo? Whether there is a possibility to solve a problem?

  • This zip code issue appeared in my wp site too. Previously it worked with Hungarian locations, now gives ‘invalid location’ error.

    Hello, yes I also get a invalid location error, since last WP upgrade.
    I have tried city, country and postcode. If I change it to only country, it shows a forecast but Australia is a big country so that isn’t very helpful!

    Same issue here, leaving the field blank works (not sure where the weather is from though) but entering a zip code or location (lockport, new york) does not work. Yahoo probably changed their API.
