Trouble disabling specific plugin on homepage.

Everything relies on the URL or permalink. For your page you have the permalink toward the top which is probably something like https://www.yourdomain.com/homepage/. When you apply settings through the page interface it will apply to https://www.yourdomain.com/homepage/ which is probably different from the URL of what you are referring to as your home page. I’m guessing you mean that you want to disable plugins on https://www.yourdomain.com/. To do that you need to create a plugin filter with that permalink.
