Unable to load pictures to the gallery using NextGEN Gallery plugin

Hi, I’m trying to load pictures to the gallery, but everytime I upload a picture, after it loads it says “Upload complete 0 images were uploaded” and the picture in my gallery disappears. Is anyone familiar with what’s going on?
