Steps Appearing out of order

Yes please, what steps are you using and what text are you using for them, any settings.

Curious if it’s an issue with alphanumeric orderby parameters somewhere.

I’m using LearnDash passing Quiz steps and Specific Achievements.

I do have the step description beginning with a number. I’ll mess around with that and see if it helps.

Could you try dragging one step in a different order? There’s a chance that the default order isn’t/wasn’t being set and thus they all have a sort order of 0.

If that works, then we’ll know if it’s an issue on initial, or something else. Regardless, it is sounding like a bug of some sort.

I dragged the steps into different orders. The order would change on viewing but it would not be the order in which I dragged them.
Does that give you the info you need?

Would making a new badge help??

Hi Michael-

Can you recommend any work arounds for this or if there will be an update soon??

I’m presenting at an education national conference on Tuesday and was hoping to share all of the Badges etc.

As you can imagine this has gotten me hung up.

We’re looking into the issue, but we’re also working to fix a number of other pressing issues, including the 1.3.0 release. We do apologize that we can’t commit to anything by Tuesday, and we do wish we already had a solution ready for you.

At first glance, this looks like it could potentially be an issue with Posts2Posts, which we’re utilizing for the relationships between the Steps and Achievements.

I was hoping that version 1.3.0 would help this issue but it has not. Please, please help. I’ve been waiting to re-launch my site until this is fixed. The main badge has it’s steps out of order.

Hi Matt, we’re still exploring the issue and trying to solve it.

Any updated info. I’m literally having 120 students wait to begin course work until this is fixed. I deleted the original badge and then started from scratch. Everything was stable and appearing in order. After adding the 14th and 15th steps the problem re-ocurred and all of the steps appeared out of order.

Is anyone else having this problem??

I can confirm this is reproducible. I’m having a deeper look at this today, will get back to you ASAP.
