Hi guys I have to say out of 6 different testimonial plugins yours is the cleanest and simplest to use however some key information (aka shortcodes for the full testimonial page and their attributes) could be made more accessible (was a little hard to find at the bottom of your FAQ page.

So first of all very simple install and customization quite nice however it seems to limit me to only 2 testimonials per page on my testimonials page. (https://solveit.info/new/testimonials/)

Is there a way to customize this by adding a quantity=’10’ or limit=’10’ to the shortcode?

    Thanks again
    Great work

    Hi pputilitz,

Thanks very much for your feedback!

You’re right, the ability to specify how many testimonials to show per page is a great idea. I will put it into the pipeline for the next release, which should be within the next few days.

If you have found the plugin useful, please consider taking a moment to rate it accordingly.

PS: We will also look at ensuring the documentation is easier to find instead of crawling through the FAQ page.

    Thank you!

    Thanks Luke

While you are at it for the documentation (i would recommend to put the basic short code information into the plugin description (under installed plugins) as that’s what people will see fairly quickly and considering you don’t have so many short codes that it would bulk up the description to an unmanageable amount.

Do you have an idea when you are releasing the update as it would be very handy for me to have the additional listings per page.

Also another neat item would be to have the ability of showing excerpts and titles with a read more feature (essentially like posts) with pagination for the list as well. Its something that i have been looking around for desperately as some testimonials get rather long on my end. Anyway that would be something for a wishlist ;).

    Thanks have a Great Weekend!

    Hi Luke,
Yes, this plugin is perfect. I would like to be able to post ALL testimonials from one category (instead of having the automatic pagination). Can you please advise the proper shortcode for this?

    So basically I want
Testimonials from Category 1 (all are listed, one right after the other)
Testimonials from Category 2 (all are listed, one right after the other)

I think you’re working on this so let us know when this will work!! Keeping my fingers crossed it’s soon ??

Thank you thank you for all your hard work!

Version 1.3 has just been released. You can now specify the amount of testimonials shown per page.

    EG: [testimonials category=”5″ per_page=”15″]

Kirsten, to show all testimonials on one page, set per_page to something very large that is unlikely to ever be met

    EG: [testimonials category=”1″ per_page=”9999″]

Thanks for the feedback guys and I’m very glad you’re enjoying my plugin ??

    Thanks for the great plugin!

Is it possible to have the testimonials display in ascending or descending order?

I too am having issues with showing testimonials. i have seven to show but only four will scroll through one at a time on the page. i have used the code you listed

testimonials category=”1″ per_page=”9999″ and still only four of the seven rotate through…

would love to show more than one at a time and for sure be able to rotate between all of them
