eWay SOAP Error

Hi,
I am getting the following error
CreateAccessCode SOAP Error: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn’t load from ‘https://api.ewaypayments.com/Soap.asmx?WSDL’ : Start tag expected, ‘<‘ not found
Using WP e-Commerce 3.8.12.1 and Gold Cart add on with eWay option.
Site has SSL.
Anybody had a similar issue and get it solved?
