• hi all.

i have a question. i have searched for an answer and i cant find one.

on my website the tab above the url for the front page says –

    Home >> Joan Walsh

i lost the original ‘home page’ that came with WP and on the menu somewhere along the line, and deleted it, and emptied the trash. and so at some point early on i used the sample page to become my home page. i wanted a static home page.

however, the tab for the front page should read as Joan Walsh >> Home

or Joan Walsh >> my tagline

or Joan Walsh | my tagline (or Home)

I don’t know how to put that right. any suggestions? how to remedy this?

I see that some peoples’ websites here some have it the way i have it, and others the way it ‘should’ be – name of website/ domain name | tagline (for the front page)

    thanks, joan

  • What theme are you using? A link to your site would be relevant as well.

    sorry yes.

i’m using pinboard theme. my website in progress is https://www.joanwalsh.ie

    thanks, joan

I think that’s actually from your SEO plugin. I just tested Pinboard on a test site and it only shows the page name in the browser tab.
