Does WP generate an email for admin or do I have to type in my regular email?

    What I mean is, during the installation is wordpress creating a new email account for messages to my site or do I have to enter the address of a preexisting email account?

    Also, do my admin screen name and admin email name have to match? If so, why?

    PS: I apologize in advance for my avatar, it was autogenerated and has some interesting anatomy ??

  • You have to use a pre-existing email account. WordPress has absolutely nothing to do with your email management.
