• I’ve seen on some websites that they have under the blog entry by Comments, they also have Trackbacks. This displays the number and name of other sites referring back to the blog entry. How do you do this on WP 2.x?

    Is it theme dependant?

  • Normally – if anybody pings or trackbacks you, WP should display it by default.
Go to this site and check back and forth whether the feature works on/from your blog.

I did a test ping and the ping comes back to my spam (this is a good thing considering)…however, nothing auto-displays on the main page.

Just to make sure that I’m clear, I’m looking for something like the “Trackback (0)” that is found on this site https://armsandthelaw.com/…the trackback is listed under each blog entry.

    How do I do that?

    1. If you want to check the TB – don’t ping. Send a TB ??
    2. It will be displayed among the comments.
    3. To separate TBs and comments… search. There used to be some plugin or hack ro something.
