Hi guys, my domain (https://raptorswatch.com) expired yesterday. I didn’t realize, I thought I had it on auto-renewal, I guess not.

But anyway, I wanted to renew it today but just couldn’t really figure out how.

Any guidance? I also tried to remember my other old log-in (raptorswatch.wordpress.com) but couldn’t for the life of me figure that one out either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The blog I need help with is raptorswatch.com.

Did you self-host your blog or did you use wordpress.com and redirected the domain?

If it self-hosted, you should contact your hoster and see what they can do for you. I have to say, sometimes they delete all files and databases if a contract is not renewed.

If you used wordpress.com, you should be able to restore your blog with them and ask your domain registrar if you can re-register the domain.

I recall having read about a quarantaine period for .com domain during which nobody else but you can register the domain, but I’m not sure.

Looks like that’s registered through WP.COM (they use Wild West Domains as their registrar) –

https://www.whois.com/whois/raptorswatch.com

So you do need to renew on your account there or ask on their forums if you need help with it.

I did talk to WWD, they insisted that I have to do it through WordPress.

www.remarpro.com does not register domains.

Ok, I’m not sure then. When I go to raptorswatch.com, it says:

Do you own this domain? Renew It Now!

When I click that, it takes me here.

You need to login to your WordPress.COM site and renew your domain there.
